Our Values

At Dragon Valley we have 3 values that we try to impart on our players, both in and out of our games.

1 - Initative

It is important to us that our players learn to take initiative, overcome difficult decisions, and be decisive. D&D is a game that requires the players to take control of their own story, just like real life.

Our emphasis on initiative teaches a valuable lesson to everyone involved, for their enjoyment of the game, the progression of the story, and their personal growth.

2- collaboration

Collaboration is one of the key skills that D&D teaches, because only together can players overcome the deadly challenges laid our by the Dungeon Master. Our players will learn to collaborate effectively through hardship and move past arguments and debates in the game.

Collaboration is a life skill that cannot be practiced too much, and we take pride in teaching it to our players.

3 - creativity

Creativity is characteristically critical to success in D&D, and we have proven that time and time again in our games. Only by coming up with innovative solutions to daunting problems can our players overcome adversity. Creativity is the thing that brings us back to D&D after all these years—each game is different, unique, and new, and with creativity the players can breathe life into the game.
